Can pediatricians treat adult patients too?
I've been wondering, do pediatric doctors ever see adult patients? Or do they strictly work with children? I'm curious because I know a pediatrician and I'm wondering if they could help me with some health concerns I've been having. #pediatrics #childhealthcare

Hi there! While pediatricians primarily focus on the health and well-being of children and adolescents, some pediatricians may provide care to young adults, especially those with special needs or chronic conditions that began in childhood. However, for most general health concerns, adult patients typically see a family medicine physician or an internal medicine specialist. #infantcare #medicalinformation
That makes sense! I didn't realize there were limitations on the age range that pediatricians could treat. Thanks for the info. #pediatricresearch
