What to Eat When Pre-Diabetic?
I've recently been told that I'm pre-diabetic and I'm trying to make some changes to my diet to manage it better. I'm looking for some advice on what to eat and what to avoid. Any suggestions?

Eating a balanced diet is crucial when managing pre-diabetes. Focus on whole, unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limit your intake of added sugars, salt, and saturated and trans fats.
Portion control is also important when it comes to pre-diabetes. Even healthy foods can contribute to high blood sugar levels if eaten in large quantities. Try using smaller plates to help control portion sizes.
In addition to making changes to your diet, regular physical activity is an important part of managing pre-diabetes. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, such as brisk walking, most days of the week.
